[09-05-2026] Santa Barbara County, CA – Two Injured in Head-On Crash in Vandenberg Village

Two people were injured in a head-on collision in Vandenberg Village, Santa Barbara County, on Saturday morning, September 5, 2026.

According to the Lompoc Fire Department and Santa Barbara County Fire Department, emergency crews responded shortly before 9:00 a.m. to Burton Mesa Boulevard and Constellation Road.

Fire officials said one person had to be extricated from a vehicle. One person suffered critical injuries, while the other sustained minor injuries. Both were transported by ground ambulance, with one patient taken to Marian Regional Medical Center and the other to Lompoc Hospital. Their identities were not immediately released.

The CHP continues to investigate the cause of the collision.
