One person reported an injury after a two-vehicle crash on East Mission Road near Avo Drive in Fallbrook, San Diego County, on Friday morning, September 5, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported around 8:16 a.m. and involved a gray SUV and a white Chevrolet Malibu.
Airbags were deployed in at least one of the vehicles. Both drivers appeared alert at the scene, and the injured individual declined medical transport.
The crash blocked lanes in the westbound direction, prompting CHP to request tow trucks. Traffic delays continued as crews worked to clear the roadway.
CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
