[09-05-2023] At Least One Injured Following Three-Vehicle Collision in Jurupa ValleyAt least one person was injured after a three-vehicle crash on Pomona 60 Freeway in Jurupa Valley Tuesday evening, September 5, 2023.

The California Highway Patrol and Riverside County Fire Department responded to the collision around 5:10 p.m., at eastbound 60 on Mission Boulevard.

Initial investigations revealed that the crash involved a big rig, a pickup with a horse trailer, and a Hyundai Genesis. The three vehicles then came in contact along the two lanes close to the right-side shoulder of the freeway and left the pickup going over the guard rail.

The severity of the injuries sustained by the Hyundai driver was not specified. Still, it was reported that the driver crawled out of the car and was immediately rushed to the hospital. It was not indicated whether the big rig and pickup occupants were injured.

Two lanes were closed, and two were left open following the crash. The cause of the accident and factors involving it are still under investigation.
