[09-04-2023] At Least One Person Injured After Two-Vehicle Collision in HesperiaAt least one person was injured after a collision involving two vehicles in Hesperia on Monday afternoon, September 4, 2023.

According to the San Bernardino County Fire and California Highway Patrol, the crash occured around 1:22 p.m., approximately one mile north of the Main Street exit on Interstate 15 southbound.

Authorities stated they found two vehicles involved at the scene: a white Ford sedan obstructing the fast lane and a black Prius on the right shoulder. At least one person suffering unspecified injuries was rescued by an AMR ambulance.

No serious injuries were reported. The identity of the people involved in the crash was not released. Officials said the Ford was ushered to the right shoulder after over half an hour of heavy traffic in the area.

A police investigation is underway to determine what caused the collision.
