[09-01-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – One Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash in Norwalk

One person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision near Rosecrans and Longworth Avenues in Norwalk early Tuesday morning, September 1, 2026.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, two vehicles were traveling eastbound around 12:52 a.m. when one rear-ended the other. Both vehicles then rolled over several times.

Authorities said multiple moving and parked vehicles were struck during the collision. A third vehicle, traveling behind, also collided with several parked vehicles.

The driver who died was ejected from his vehicle. Authorities have not yet released his identity. Another driver was treated by emergency personnel at the scene but was not transported to a hospital.

Investigators said possible street racing was being examined as a factor in the collision. The investigation remains ongoing.
