A 63-year-old woman was injured after being struck by a vehicle caused by a hit-and-run driver in San Diego on Friday morning, September 1, 2023.
According to the reports from the San Diego Police Department, the crash occured at Bay Ho Costco on 4605 Morena Boulevard around 10:34 a.m.
A vehicle ran over the pedestrian for unknown reasons as she crossed the Bay Ho Costco parking lot. The vehicle was nowhere near the scene.
Authorities stated that multiple fractures were sustained by the woman, as well as internal injuries. She is currently in a life-threatening condition.
Officials said neither witnesses nor CCTV footage had been gathered yet to describe the suspect’s vehicle or negligent driver.
In the ongoing investigation into the crash, the authorities ask anyone with details or video evidence to reach their hotline.
