[08-31-2023] Riverside County, CA – Mother Injured, 3-Year-Old Daughter Dead Following Hit-and-Run Collision by Motorcycle in Perris

A five-month pregnant woman and her three-year-old daughter were struck by a speeding motorcycle near a park in Perris on Thursday, August 31, 2023.

The California Highway Patrol is handling investigations of an incident involving a motorcycle hit-and-run that left a mother seriously injured and a three-year-old toddler dead. The time of the incident was unspecified.

Odalys N. and her mother, Rubi N., were on their way home from a nearby park when a motorcyclist, reported without headlights nor protective gear, sped by and collided with the two.

Both victims were immediately rushed to the hospital, but the three-year-old Odalys N. succumbed to her injuries four days later and died.
