[08-30-2025] Motorcyclist Killed in Collision with SUV at 11th Street and Redondo Avenue in Long BeachA 37-year-old man was killed after his motorcycle collided with an SUV at 11th Street and Redondo Avenue in Long Beach on Saturday night, August 30, 2025.

According to Long Beach Police, the crash occurred around 9:01 p.m. Investigators reported that a 2010 KTM motorcycle traveling south on Redondo Avenue collided with a 2006 Toyota Sequoia traveling east on 11th Street at the intersection.

Long Beach Fire Department personnel responded to the scene, but the motorcyclist, later identified as Roberto B., 37, of Long Beach, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the SUV, Frank A. Jr., 33, of Long Beach, remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter, with bail set at $101,781.

Authorities said impairment is being investigated as a possible factor. The crash remains under investigation.
