[08-28-2024] Motorcyclist Killed in Collision on Osgood Road in FremontA motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Osgood Road in Fremont on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.

According to the Fremont Police Department, the crash occurred around 5:50 p.m. at a controlled intersection in the 43000 block of Osgood Road. 

The motorcyclist was traveling southbound when they collided with the front end of a passenger vehicle making a left turn from the northbound direction.

The motorcyclist succumbed to their injuries at the scene. Their identity has not yet been released.

The driver of the passenger vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Authorities stated that alcohol and drugs do not appear to be factors in the crash.

The investigation is ongoing.
