[08-27-2026] Orange County, CA – At Least One Injured in Four-Vehicle Crash on I-405 in Seal Beach

At least one person was injured in a four-vehicle crash on Interstate 405 in Seal Beach, Orange County, on Thursday afternoon, August 27, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 2:15 p.m. on the northbound I-405 near Seal Beach Boulevard.

CHP reported that the crash involved a Nissan Murano, a Honda Accord, a Jeep Cherokee, and a fourth unidentified vehicle.

At least one person was injured in the collision. Information about the extent of the person’s injuries was not immediately available.

The crash caused northbound traffic to back up for approximately a mile through Seal Beach as emergency crews responded to the scene.

The investigation remains ongoing.
