A woman was killed and another person was injured in a three-vehicle collision in Hemet on Monday morning, August 25, 2025.
According to the Hemet Police Department, the crash was reported at around 6:02 a.m. on Warren Road near Poplar Street.
Investigators said a silver Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck was traveling northbound on Warren Road when it drifted into the opposite lanes and sideswiped a blue Chevrolet Cruze heading south. The Cruze then lost control, slid sideways into northbound lanes, and was struck on the passenger side by a silver Toyota Tundra.
Responding officers found the female driver of the Cruze unresponsive. Despite life-saving measures, she was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Another victim was transported to University Health System Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The third driver was uninjured and cooperated with investigators.
Police confirmed that drugs and alcohol were not factors in the crash. Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
