[08-22-2024] 40-Year-Old Man Injured After Hit-and-Run Collision on Lion Street in OjaiA 40-year-old man was injured after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run collision in Ojai on Thursday night, August 22, 2024.

According to authorities, the incident occurred around 8:42 p.m. in the 300 block of Lion Street. 

The man was walking southbound when a gray Toyota Prius struck him, forcing him into a parked vehicle. He sustained moderate injuries.

The driver of the Prius fled the scene without stopping. The vehicle may have damage to its passenger side.

The Ojai Police Station is urging anyone with information about the vehicle or the incident to call (805) 646-1414.
