According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 2:02 a.m. on the southbound 710 Freeway just north of Florence Avenue.

CHP reported that one person was transported to a local hospital. Information regarding the extent of the person’s injuries was not immediately available.

The collision resulted in the complete closure of the southbound lanes while emergency crews responded and cleared the scene. Authorities confirmed that no fatalities resulted from the crash.

All southbound lanes reopened around 3:30 a.m.
