[08-21-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – One Injured After Multi-Vehicle Crash on 710 Freeway

One person sustained injuries following a multi-vehicle crash on the Long Beach (710) Freeway in Los Angeles County early Friday morning, August 21, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 2:02 a.m. on the southbound 710 Freeway just north of Florence Avenue.

CHP reported that one person was transported to a local hospital. Information regarding the extent of the person’s injuries was not immediately available.

The collision resulted in the complete closure of the southbound lanes while emergency crews responded and cleared the scene. Authorities confirmed that no fatalities resulted from the crash.
