A single-vehicle rollover accident left four people injured, one critically, in the Town of Apple Valley, Sacramento County, on Wednesday evening, August 21, 2024.
The incident occurred at approximately 6:21 p.m. on Thunderbird Road between Mesquite and Candlewood Roads.
Firefighters from the Apple Valley Fire Protection District responded to the scene and found a white 2002 Chevy Suburban on its side.
Sheriff’s spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez confirmed that the male driver sustained serious injuries and was flown to a trauma center. His current condition is not known.
A female adult passenger and two juvenile passengers also sustained injuries and were transported to a local hospital. Their conditions are also not known at this time.
