A bicyclist was injured in a hit-and-run collision in Sonora on Wednesday morning, August 20, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported around 11:15 a.m. on Greenley Road near the intersection with Cabezut Road.
Authorities said the collision involved a bicyclist and a blue Dodge pickup truck that allegedly ran another vehicle off the roadway before fleeing the scene. An ambulance was dispatched, and CHP confirmed that injuries were reported.
By 11:50 a.m., officials had cleared the crash scene and issued a “Be on the Lookout” alert for the suspect pickup truck.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
