[08-17-2026] Riverside County, CA – Two Injured in Three-Vehicle Crash in Lake Elsinore

Two people were injured in a three-vehicle collision at an intersection in Lake Elsinore on Monday morning, August 17, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported around 11:43 a.m. at Blackwell Boulevard and Grand Avenue. The collision involved a work van, a Mercedes sedan, and a BMW sedan.

Riverside County Fire Department personnel responded to the scene. CHP officers and sheriff’s deputies were also requested after one motorist reportedly became uncooperative with emergency personnel. No arrests were reported.

Two people were transported to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar with unspecified injuries that were considered non-life-threatening.

All three vehicles sustained major damage and were towed from the scene.

The investigation remains ongoing.
