[08-15-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – Five Hospitalized in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 395 in Adelanto

Five people were hospitalized following a five-vehicle collision involving eight people in Adelanto on Saturday night, August 15, 2026.

According to authorities, deputies responded around 9:15 p.m. to U.S. Highway 395 at Auburn Avenue. An American Medical Response ambulance was among the five vehicles involved in the crash.

Authorities said those involved included a 42-year-old Hesperia woman, two teenage juveniles from Hesperia, a 46-year-old Victorville woman, a 26-year-old Perris woman, and a 20-year-old Adelanto man. Two adult male AMR emergency technicians were also involved.

Five people were transported to local hospitals for various levels of medical treatment. Authorities did not release additional information about their conditions.

The two AMR technicians began providing medical assistance to other injured people at the scene despite being involved in the collision.
