[08-15-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – 92-Year-Old Man Killed in Golf Cart Vs. Vehicle Crash in Yucca Valley

A 92-year-old man died after a golf cart and a vehicle collided in Yucca Valley, San Bernardino County, on Saturday evening, August 15, 2026.

According to police, the collision was reported shortly before 5:45 p.m. at Highway 62 and Mohawk Trail.

Authorities said the elderly man was driving a golf cart into oncoming traffic when a vehicle struck it.

The man was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after 8 p.m. Authorities have not released his identity pending notification of next of kin.

The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The circumstances surrounding the fatal crash remain under investigation.
