[08-15-2026] Riverside County, CA – Juvenile Killed, Another Critically Injured in Two-Vehicle DUI Crash in Perris.webpA juvenile was killed, and another remained in critical condition following a two-vehicle crash in Perris on Saturday evening, August 15, 2026.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 5:35 p.m. near Ramona Expressway and Rider Street. Authorities located five injured people in one vehicle, including two who sustained life-threatening injuries.

The driver and sole occupant of the second vehicle, identified as 52-year-old Silvia C. of San Jacinto, was also injured. All six people involved in the collision were transported to hospitals for treatment.

One juvenile later died at the hospital. A second juvenile remained hospitalized in critical condition. Authorities did not provide additional information about the other injured occupants.

Silvia was arrested on Monday and booked into the Cois M. Byrd Detention Center on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and driving under the influence of alcohol.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the fatal crash.
