The crash occurred just after 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of Dale Evans Parkway and Highway 18. The vehicles involved were a burgundy 2009 Mini Cooper and a red 2014 Nissan Altima.

Firefighters from the Apple Valley Fire Protection District responded to the scene and requested three ground ambulances. All three injured individuals were transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center for treatment.

The roadway was partially blocked as deputies investigated the crash and tow operators worked to remove the vehicles.
