[08-14-2025] Elderly Man Killed in Two-Car Crash at Wells and Darling RoadsAn 82-year-old Ventura man died following a two-car collision in Ventura early Thursday morning, August 14, 2025.

According to the Ventura Police Department, the crash occurred around 5:30 a.m. at the intersection of Wells and Darling Roads.

Officers said the man suffered major injuries and was transported to a hospital, where he later died. The second driver sustained a non-life-threatening injury and was also hospitalized.

Police said drugs or alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash. The Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the victim’s identity once the next of kin have been notified.

The incident remains under investigation.
