[08-13-2025] Woman Killed in Pedestrian Collision on Fair Oaks Boulevard in CarmichaelA woman in her 50s died after being struck by an SUV in Carmichael, Sacramento County, on Wednesday night, August 13, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 9:15 p.m. in the southbound lanes of Fair Oaks Boulevard near Landis Avenue.

CHP said the driver, a man in his 20s, was approaching the intersection in the two-lane section of the road when he hit the woman, who was pushing a wheelchair. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities said alcohol and drugs are not believed to be factors in the collision. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
