Police are searching for the driver of a white Ford Edge SUV who fled after a crash that seriously injured two teenagers in Novato early Wednesday morning, August 13, 2025.
According to the Novato Police Department, the collision occurred around 3 a.m. on Ignacio Boulevard between Palmer Drive and Entrada Drive.
Investigators said the SUV was traveling westbound when the driver lost control, struck a tree in the center median, and spun across the roadway.
Inside the vehicle, officers found a 14-year-old girl with critical injuries, who was transported to a regional trauma center, and a 15-year-old boy with significant but non-life-threatening injuries, who was taken to a local hospital and is in stable condition.
The driver was not located at the scene. A search involving Novato police and the Marin County Sheriff’s Office drone team was unsuccessful. Authorities have not determined if intoxication played a role.
The investigation is ongoing.

What A Lawyer Can Do For You
Many victims put off calling a lawyer even if they sustain injuries after an accident. However, lawyers can help you in many ways. They can provide you with police reports, CCTV footage, and witness statements to strengthen your case. Your attorney will also negotiate with insurance companies to get you fair compensation. The best part is that they will do all of these things for you at no upfront cost. So if you’re injured in an accident, hire a personal injury attorney to recover medical bills, car repair costs, lost wages, and pain and suffering.
