Eight people were hospitalized, and several others were possibly injured after a multi-vehicle crash in Inglewood on Sunday noon, August 11, 2024.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the collision occurred around noon at the intersection of La Cienega and Fairview boulevards.
Of the 13 individuals evaluated at the scene, four were transported to the hospital by advanced life-saving ambulances, while another four were taken via basic life-support ambulances. Nine others at the scene declined transportation and are yet to be confirmed as injured or not.
The names, genders, and ages of the victims have not yet been released. Their current conditions were also not provided.
Officials released no further details about the cause of the crash. It remains unclear how many people and vehicles were involved.
The investigation into the accident continues.
