According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the collision was reported shortly before 10:20 p.m. at the intersection of Warner Avenue and Raitt Street. Officers responded and found the male rider suffering from an injury to his lower extremity.

The man was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities have not released his identity.

Police said the driver involved left the scene before officers arrived and remains outstanding. Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage that reportedly captured the collision.
