[08-08-2023] Los Angeles County, CA – 2 People Trapped & Injured Following Two-Vehicle Collision in Palmdale

Two people were trapped in their vehicle after a two-vehicle collision that ended at a traffic pole in Palmdale on Tuesday evening, August 8, 2023.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at the intersection of Avenue N and 20th Street West that night.

Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel arrived at the scene to find two people, a man and a woman, trapped in their vehicle. There was no information about the other vehicle involved or the condition of its occupants.

The man was easily extricated, while it took more than 20 minutes to rescue the woman. The woman was taken to a hospital in Lancaster for treatment. The man was treated at the scene.

No information was released regarding the identities of the people involved, pending an investigation.
