[08-05-2026] Orange County, CA – One Killed, Two Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash Involving Semi-Truck on 91 Freeway in Anaheim

One person was killed, and two others sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash involving a semi-truck in Anaheim on Wednesday night, August 5, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred shortly before 9:30 p.m. on the eastbound 91 Freeway near Euclid Street. 

Investigators said a semi-truck was involved in the crash, but the driver left the scene before authorities arrived.

Emergency responders found a silver sedan overturned on its roof with three occupants trapped inside. First responders extricated the occupants from the vehicle. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, while two others sustained injuries. Authorities have not released the extent of those injuries.

The CHP continues to investigate the fatal hit-and-run collision and is working to locate the driver of the semi-truck.
