[08-04-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Three Injured After Semi-Truck Crashes Into Apartment Building in Panorama City.webpThree people were injured after a semi-truck carrying vehicles crashed into an apartment building in Panorama City, Los Angeles County, on Tuesday afternoon, August 4, 2026.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. in the 8900 block of Van Nuys Boulevard near Osborne Street.

A car hauler transporting eight vehicles left the roadway, crossed the curb, and crashed into the front of a 44-unit apartment building. The collision also damaged at least a dozen parked vehicles outside the complex.

The driver of the semi-truck and another person were transported to a local hospital with injuries. A third person was treated at the scene and declined transportation.

The American Red Cross is assisting 13 residents who were displaced after the crash, and at least one apartment unit was destroyed. Officials also reported damage to a nearby gas line, and firefighters worked to stabilize the structure after removing the truck from the building.

The apartment complex has been placed under restricted use while repairs are evaluated. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
