Multiple individuals sustained injuries following a two-vehicle head-on collision on Sunday afternoon, August 4, 2024, in Victorville.

According to the Victorville Police Department, the incident occurred at approximately 5:50 PM along Highway 395, south of Joshua Dell Road.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find a black Dodge Challenger and a silver Toyota Camry, both with significant front-end damage. Firefighters from the Victorville City Fire Department requested five ground ambulances to transport the injured. The total number of injured individuals was not immediately known.

Highway 395 was closed in both directions, from Joshua Dell Road to Eucalyptus Street, for about an hour as deputies conducted their investigation and Victor Valley Towing crews cleared the scene.

The official cause of the accident is still under investigation by the VPD. Further information will be provided as it becomes available.
