According to the California Highway Patrol, the traffic collision happened around 3:30 p.m. along northbound Highway 99 near Hammett Road.

The circumstances of the incident remain unclear, including the make or model of the vehicles involved and the number of people affected. CHP reported that at least one person suffered minor injuries as a result but did not provide any further information about the victim’s identity and current condition.

The crash scene partially blocked the roadway, as per the CHP. Other motorists traveling north on Highway 99 were advised to seek alternative routes to avoid significant traffic delays.
