[07-31-2026] Solano County, CA – Three Killed in Head-On Crash Between Two Pickup Trucks on Highway 113

Three people were killed in a head-on collision involving a red GMC pickup truck and a gray Ram pickup truck on State Route 113 in Solano County on Friday morning, July 31, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported shortly after 6:30 a.m. on Highway 113 north of Hay Road. 

CHP officers arrived and found the driver and a passenger of the red GMC deceased at the scene. Fire officials later pronounced the driver of the gray Ram dead.

A preliminary investigation and witness statements indicated that the red GMC was overtaking other vehicles at a high rate of speed before crossing into the opposite lane and colliding head-on with the Ram.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
