[07-31-2026] Santa Barbara County, CA – Two Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash South of Guadalupe

Two people were transported to the hospital following a two-vehicle collision south of Guadalupe in Santa Barbara County on Friday morning, July 31, 2026.

According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, officers were dispatched shortly after 8 a.m. to the area of Brown Road and Highway 1. 

One person suffered critical injuries and another sustained minor injuries. Firefighters extricated one person from a vehicle before both patients were transported to a hospital for treatment.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by the CHP.
