Injuries are still being examined following a truck vs. pedestrian collision in Modesto on Wednesday night, July 31, 2024.
According to the responding officials, the crash happened around 8:45 p.m. at Finch and South McClure roads.
Authorities were dispatched to the scene after reports of a semi-truck versus pedestrian collision. The emergency personnel found the unidentified pedestrian down in the area and examined them for possible injuries. There is no word yet on the victim’s current condition.
It is unknown if the driver of the semi-truck remained at the scene. Drugs, alcohol, and speeding were being investigated as possible factors leading up to the crash.
