A 61-year-old man riding an off-road motorcycle was seriously injured in a collision with a car in the Pacific Beach neighborhood of San Diego on Wednesday evening, July 30, 2025.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the crash occurred at approximately 5:29 p.m. at the intersection of Ingraham Street and La Mancha Drive.
A 20-year-old woman was driving a silver Toyota Corolla southbound on Ingraham Street and was turning left onto La Mancha Drive when the motorcyclist, heading northbound, struck the vehicle broadside.
Police said the man, who was riding a green Kawasaki motorcycle without a helmet, was ejected and suffered a serious head injury. He was transported to a hospital in unknown condition.
Surveillance footage reportedly showed the motorcyclist traveling at unsafe speeds prior to the crash.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
