[07-29-2025] One Killed After Excavator Overturns at Construction Site Near Tollhouse and Newmark RoadsOne person was killed after an excavator overturned at a construction site in Fresno County on Tuesday morning, July 29, 2025.

According to CAL FIRE, emergency crews received a call around 7:00 a.m. reporting an overturned excavator near the intersection of Tollhouse Road and Newmark Road.

The operator became trapped inside the equipment and was pinned between the excavator and a boulder. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
