At least one person was injured following a motorcycle vs. vehicle collision in Arden-Arcade, Sacramento County, on Thursday afternoon, July 18, 2024. 

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 5:05 p.m. on Marconi Avenue near Greenwood Avenue. 

Authorities stated that the crash involved a motorcycle and another unspecified vehicle. At least one person was transported to an area hospital with injuries. The extent of the injuries and the current condition of the victim were not disclosed. 

No information is yet available on the injured person’s identity. As of this writing, it is unknown if anyone else sustained injuries. 

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Speeding and impaired driving are being investigated as possible factors.
