A construction worker was killed after a tractor accident at a construction site in the Baldwin Hills/Crenshaw area in Los Angeles County on Monday morning, July 13, 2026.
According to Los Angeles City Fire Department officials, firefighters responded around 10:40 a.m. to the 3700 block of West Santa Rosalia Drive, between Marlton Avenue and Stocker Street.
Authorities reported that the worker was operating a tractor when it rolled over, trapping him underneath. A nearby heavy equipment operator lifted the tractor off the victim before firefighters arrived.
Despite efforts to save him, the worker was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased construction worker has not been released.
Investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the accident.
