Two people were injured and a vegetation fire was ignited following a two-vehicle crash in Paso Robles on Sunday, July 13, 2025.
According to the San Luis Obispo County Fire Department, the collision occurred at the intersection of Creston and Neal Spring Roads. One of the vehicles caught fire, leading to a vegetation blaze.
At 6:39 p.m., officials confirmed that forward progress of the fire had been halted, though crews remained on scene to extricate victims from the vehicles.
Authorities reported that one person sustained major injuries while another suffered moderate injuries. An EMS helicopter was dispatched to assist with the emergency response.
The incident remains under investigation.
