[07-10-2026] Riverside County, CA – Pedestrian Critically Injured After Being Struck By Vehicle in Bermuda Dunes

A pedestrian was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle in Bermuda Dunes in Riverside County on Friday morning, July 10, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 10:57 a.m. near the intersection of Washington Street and Harris Lane.

Authorities said a vehicle turning from Harris Lane onto northbound Washington Street struck a pedestrian standing in the roadway.

Emergency personnel transported the pedestrian to a local hospital in critical condition. Both CHP and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department responded and assisted at the scene.

The driver remained on scene and cooperated with authorities before being allowed to leave.

The circumstances leading up to the incident remain under investigation.
