At least one person was injured following a multi-vehicle collision along Highway 101 at Highway 12 in Santa Rosa on Thursday evening, July 10, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly after 6:00 p.m. in the southbound lanes of Highway 101 near the Highway 12 overpass.
The collision involved at least six vehicles, including a flatbed semi-truck carrying lumber, a Chrysler van, a Volkswagen Jetta, and Honda and Kia SUVs. The impact caused the semi to lose its load, scattering wooden planks across the roadway.
Officials reported that at least one individual sustained major injuries and was treated at the scene. Several other vehicles were heavily damaged, and tow trucks were called to assist with removal.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
