Ten people were injured, including children, following a two-vehicle collision in Palmdale on Sunday evening, July 7, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the traffic accident happened at about 8:05 p.m. on Pearblossom Highway at Small Road.

Video taken from the crash site showed a white SUV with significant damage on its front and a silver Nissan sedan with major damage on the side of the road. It appears that the Nissan was T-boned and subsequently pushed to the side by the SUV.

A total of ten people were said to be hurt in the incident. Two of them were listed in critical condition, another two suffered moderate injuries, and the remaining six all sustained minor injuries. It is not immediately known if all of them were taken to the hospital.

None of the people involved have been identified yet. It is also unclear how many were occupying which vehicle at the time of the crash.

Additional information was not immediately available, and the authorities are still gathering all the necessary details to determine the circumstances surrounding the vehicular accident.
