At least one person was possibly injured after a two-vehicle collision in Turlock on Saturday evening, July 6, 2024.

According to the Turlock Police Department, the traffic incident occurred at about 6:30 p.m. at Lander Avenue and Highway 99.

When police arrived at the scene, they found two vehicles with apparent crash damage. One was on the sidewalk, while the other remained on the roadway. 

Authorities said that at least one person approached them asking to be checked out for injuries. AMR arrived shortly after, examined the person, and administered treatment. 

The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear. The total number of people involved was also not disclosed. It is not immediately known if drugs, alcohol, or speeding played a role in the accident.

Other motorists are advised to stay clear of the area as much as possible.

No further information was immediately available. An investigation into the collision is underway.
