A man was killed following a two-to-three-vehicle crash in Cerritos on Friday morning, July 5, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal collision happened around 1:14 a.m. on the eastbound Artesia (91) Freeway at Gridley Road.
Authorities stated that two to three unspecified vehicles were involved in the crash. The total number of people affected by the incident was not yet disclosed, but one person, described as a man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The name, age, and place of origin of the deceased were not immediately known. It is also unclear whether the man was a driver or a passenger in one of the involved vehicles. No other injuries or fatalities were reported as of this writing.
