Six people were injured, including children, after a two-vehicle head-on collision in Sacramento on Wednesday afternoon, July 3, 2024.
According to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, the crash happened just after 4:30 p.m. at the 10000 block of Florin Road near Vineyard and west of Sloughhouse.
The cause of the accident and the total number of people involved weren’t disclosed, but authorities reported that six individuals were injured. Notably, at least three of them were said to be kids.
Among the six injured individuals, four of them sustained moderate injuries, while two were critically injured. None of the people involved in the incident have been identified yet. Their current conditions are also unknown at this time.
Additional information was not immediately available, and the authorities are still examining all the evidence found to determine the factors leading up to the vehicular crash.
