A man was killed in a hit-and-run collision while riding his bicycle in Pomona early Monday morning, June 30, 2025.
According to the Pomona Police Department, the incident occurred around 1:10 a.m. at the intersection of Monterey Avenue and Eleanor Street. Officers arrived to find the bicyclist lying in the roadway with serious injuries.
Emergency responders transported the man to a hospital, where he died shortly after arrival. His identity has not yet been released pending family notification.
Authorities described the suspect vehicle as a gray four-door sedan, possibly a Nissan Altima or a similar model. The driver fled the scene before officers arrived.
The crash remains under investigation.
