[06-29-2026] Sacramento County, CA – Vehicle Crashes Into Dim Sum Restaurant in Natomas Area

A car crashed into the Yue Huang dim sum restaurant in Sacramento on Monday afternoon, June 29, 2026.

According to Sacramento police, the crash was reported around 1:45 p.m. at the intersection of Truxel Road and Gateway Park Boulevard in the Natomas area.

Authorities said minor injuries were reported, but no individuals appeared to require hospitalization.

Following the crash, part of the building was boarded up, and the area was secured with police tape. A city notice indicated that the VIP dining room was deemed “substandard” and ordered not to be entered.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
