Four people were hospitalized following a vehicle vs. Metro bus collision in Bell Gardens late Friday night, June 28, 2024.
According to the Bell Gardens Police Department, the traffic incident occurred just after 11:50 p.m. near Florence Avenue and Jaboneria Road.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear. Authorities said that four people were injured in total. Three of them were onboard the Metro bus, while the fourth victim was from the car.
All four victims were taken to the hospital for treatment. Their names, ages, genders, and current statuses were not available at the time of writing.
BGPD is now leading the investigation. The cause of the accident and whether drugs, alcohol, or speed played a role are still unclear.
