According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, the incident occurred around 10:00 p.m. at the intersection of La Cresta Drive and Silver Lantern Street. 

The male pedestrian was hit by a vehicle that fled the scene. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition, authorities confirmed.

The suspect vehicle was described as a silver or beige car with visible damage to the rear passenger side.

At this time, the investigation is ongoing.
