Published June 28, 2024

Two women were critically injured following a three-vehicle collision in Victorville on Thursday afternoon, June 27, 2024.

According to the Victorville Police Department, the serious crash happened at about 1:19 p.m. along Amargosa Road, in front of the Desert View Memorial and north of Eucalyptus Street.

The crash involved a silver Toyota Camry, a gray Kia SUV, and a white BMW sedan. After questioning, the male driver of the Toyota told police that he was traveling northbound on Amagrosa Road just behind the Kia when the BMW suddenly entered their lane, initiating the incident.

This recount of the events was then corroborated by a witness statement saying that the BMW had exited from the memorial park, believing the roadway was a turning lane. The authorities have yet to release an official retelling of the incident.

Upon arrival, first responders found two people with critical injuries, the drivers of the Kia and the BMW, both of which were females. The two injured women were then rushed to a nearby hospital for further medical care. Their identities and current condition were not available at this time.

No word yet confirms or denies if the Toyota driver was injured.

Amargosa Road was blocked between Desert View Memorial Park and Eucalyptus Street. About two hours after the incident, all lanes were reopened.

VPD is still investigating the cause of the accident. The police will provide further information as it becomes available.

Police work is underway.

What A Lawyer Can Do For You

Many victims put off calling a lawyer even if they sustain injuries after an accident. However, lawyers can help you in many ways. They can provide you with police reports, CCTV footage, and witness statements to strengthen your case. Your attorney will also negotiate with insurance companies to get you fair compensation. The best part is that they will do all of these things for you at no upfront cost. So if you’re injured in an accident, hire a personal injury attorney to recover medical bills, car repair costs, lost wages, and pain and suffering.
