Three people were seriously injured following a major single-vehicle collision near Guinda, Yolo County, just after midnight on Sunday, June 23, 2024.
According to CAL FIRE, the serious single-vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Highway 16 and County Road 44.
The authorities said the crashed vehicle had three occupants at the time of the incident. All three were said to be trapped inside the wreckage when responders arrived. CAL FIRE performed extrication procedures to free them.
The three individuals involved in the crash all suffered serious injuries and were airlifted to hospitals for further medical care. None of them have been identified publicly yet.
Further details regarding the circumstances surrounding the incident and the current condition of the patients were not immediately available.
